    Default Service record advice (moved)

    Hello everyone,

    Can someone assist?

My father sent in a request for service records of my grandfather over a year ago and we have not gotten a reply.

We currently live in Jamaica but I will be visiting UK in a few weeks time.

Is there somewhere/someone we can do a follow up in person with in UK?

    Thanks much

    RC

A year seems a long time to wait .... so I think your request may have got lost in the ether. Did you submit the 30 charge and, if so, has the amount been debited from your account?

There is a phone number for RAF Cranwell (01400 261201) which you may want to try, but obviously I don't know whether they would be prepared to discuss the matter over the phone ... but I guess it is worth a try

    Regards (and good luck)

    Pete
