Default F/O L W Taylor, RAAF: First name?

A long shot but I've been amazed before... Looking for the first name of a F/O L W Taylor, RAAF, who was at Benbecula in the spring of 1943, I believe in a public relations role.

    Thanks in advance.

Can't make a definite connection, but geographically OK.

Many thanks, Col. I need to check the 206 and 220 Sqn ORBs as he was evidently a pilot with one or the the other.

Done ... Taylor appears as a co-pilot in the 220 Sqn ORB in the Azores. That said, he looks older in the photo I have and note from your last link that he was born in 1911, making him 32 at the time. He also appears as a ninth crew member and moves from crew to crew so suspect he did indeed have a public relations or other non-operational role.

    Thanks again.

    Cheers:

    Col,

I've never explored General Duties but assume it embraced a wide range of admin and support functions.

    Rob,

I thought you were aware of the implications of my mentioning "General Duties". It was to indicate that Taylor was involved, amongst other things, with flying duties, rather than A&SD.
