    Default Luftwaffe squadron records

    Greetings!
Can anyone give me the slightest idea of where I might find the Luftwaffe equivalent of squadron ORBs.
I am especially interested in the actions of a JU88 of 1.(F)/122 on 27th December 1942, which supposedly shot down a 500 Squadron Hudson over the Med south of Cartagena in Spain.
    Best regards to all,
    Jonathan

    Hello,

Unfortunately, no mention of the claim for the Lockheed 14 @ 1045-1055, on the 27 December, 1942, here:

Try contacting the owner of the site.

The fate of the following loss is still open to question!

    27-12-1942
    No.500 Sqn
    Hudson V AM689 "W"

Missing on a sweep over the area between Sardinia and the Balearic Islands. Took off 0900 on anti-sub patrol, ETA for return was 1530. The aircraft failed to return. Searches over the following two days found no trace of the Hudson, or its crew.

932503 Sgt (W.Op) Ronald Thomas SOUTHCOTT RAFVR +

All commemorated on the Malta Memorial.
