STODDARD, Geoffrey William - Sqd/Ldr - 31467 - the Gloucester Citizen of March 5th, 1946 reported the following tragic news:

Police officers were called last night to a house in Hornby Avenue, Kenton, Middlesex, where in a back room on the ground floor they found Squadron Leader Jeffery [sic] William Stoddard (28) and his two year old daughter Susan Josephine with bullet wounds in the head. A revolver was lying beside the man's body and a note was also found.

No problem Malcolm, I'm happy to add what information I can find if it fills in a few small gaps here and there.
