    Hi Mojmír
Thanks for the information. Great respect.
By the way, the strong story of Sgt Deakyn pilot.
The whole story of the 23 Squadron RAF is fascinating.
    Cheers

    Hi Mojmir
    Thanks for the new information.
All pilots in 23 Sqn at the end of 1943.
    W/O A.W. SULLIVAN probably from 85 Sqn.
    Regards,
    Pavel

    Hi Pavel,

    W/O A.W. SULLIVAN probably from 85 Sqn? I agree…

There is a photo with „Shorty“ Dawson RAAF, 23 Squadron, Sicily, 11.11.1943

    https://no23squadron.files.wordpress...manuscript.jpg

Two R. G. Dawsons and two R. J. Dawsons served in RAAF during WWII.

I think that one of „your“ Dawson could be:

    DAWSON Ronald George RAAF No. 412245, Flight Sergeant, 26th December 1943 (P/O), 26th June 1944 (F/O)

There he is R.G. Dawson as RAFVR: http://aviation-safety.net/wikibase/wiki.php?id=176472

There he is R.G. Dawson as RAAF: http://aviation-safety.net/wikibase/wiki.php?id=17464

    What do you think?
