    Default 'A/T tests'?

On 6 December 1942, 41 Squadron flew a training programme that included local and formation flying, cannon tests, and A/T tests.

Can someone suggest what 'A/T tests' were. They are not mentioned elsewhere in the ORB between August 1942 and April 1943.

    Thanks

    Steve,
My first thought is, could this be "R/T" test rather than "A/T" test? These (R/T tests) were rather common of course, but I have had enough trouble decyphering difficult-to-read hand writing in my time, and many are just impossible unless you can find some context or cross-checking facility.

    Hi David

Thanks for your reply. You're most probably correct. The ORB is typewritten, but considering there are no major errors in it, I guess it was probably originally handwritten, then typed up, during which someone (maybe a WAAF?) mis-interpreted the handwriting as an 'A' iso an 'R'.

    Thanks
