Default Flight Sargeant Peter Patrick Funnell 1334825 179 Squadron 31st December 1944

    Hi
Peter Funnell died "as a result of a flying accident" with 179 Sqdn Coastal Command ?
I have downloaded the ORB and Summary of events Dec1944 - Jan 1945 from the National archives with little further information.
It appears than none of the crew survived. Is there anywhere else I might find more details on the "flying accident"
    with many thanks
    Aymeric
