Default Place Winslow, Norfolk - location request

    Hi all,

I would like to ask for help with locating the place which I have found in several offical documents in connection with 311 Squadron based at East Wretham in 1941.

All three documents mentioned the same place:

    Winslow Police, Norfolk
Lockwood, Victoria Road, Winslow - place where an officer was living
6 Walkers Lane, Winslow - place where an officer was living

But I am unable to find such a place in Norfolk. I have tried my paper atlas, Google Maps and Google with no result...
The only place I have found is Winslow in Buckinghamshire which is too far from the RAF Station East Wretham for daily commutation.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    TIA

    Pavel

    Pavel, Hi,
I can't find anything either! But - if nobody comes to your help then try this lot:- historians@norfolk.pnn.police.uk. The site (https://www.norfolk.police.uk/about-...on/our-history) says they have two retired policemen doing this job. They should know where Winslow Police Station was!! And if two detectives can't find it then I reckon you are on a loser!!!!!!

Peter many thanks for your advice. I think it is worth to make a try as it seems to me like a mysterious place:)
