    Hi Steve

Clyde Harnish (101 Sqn, mentioned by Dave above) was lost on the Nuremberg Raid. An unusual name so it's one that I've remembered from reading Martin Middlebrook's book some time ago.

On the matter generally, I've not looked at where 3 LFS was based, but have you looked at the Base ORB for wherever it was? I've recently been looking through getting on for 100 'Base' ORB's for my own research and recall that a number of them (and/or their Appendices) included things like crew lists and training details. (I think those may have been in one or more of the OTU ORB's, but can't recall offhand, I'm afraid). Anyway, might be worthwhile trying?

    No.10 8 Francis S Sergeant 567290 RAFVR No.1653 C.U 10

    567290 Sydney Frederick FRANCIS (54718) https://www.thegazette.co.uk/London/.../2801/data.pdf

Sgts Sutton and Fairbairn may have been posted to 101 Sqn but they don't arrive according to the PORs in the ORB. Nor do they fly on the squadron any time in March or April 1944.
