    Default Identification of a tie

Can anyone identify this tie and what it represents?

Don't know if it's just me, but I can't see the attached image. Tried Firefox and Safari - no joy...

Just tried it with Firefox and Chrome - worked in both. Would you try again?

I can see it now, but only by opening the post in Safari, copying the Photobucket link to the image by right-clicking on it (the image holder appears as a small blue box with a question mark in it), and pasting that Photobucket link into a new window. Ain't technology wonderful...!!

The zig-zag stripe is similar to the two-coloured one on the RAFVR tie.

    Thanks for trying again.
I too thought of the RAFVR tie - this one seems to have lost a stripe and gained a bird. Still puzzled. It is possible that there is an Australian connection.

There are a number of RAF ties with that repeated 'notch' in the diagonal stripes. These are, very often, associated with the RAFVR (the "V" notch) - this one might be? Moreover I woke, in the middle of the night, with the thought that it might be a PFF tie? Anybody got contacts with a good military tailor?
