Default Pilot Officer B. H. BOYAR, 235 Squadron

Please can anyone assist with the identity of Pilot Officer B. H. BOYAR, who served with No. 235 Squadron at R.A.F. Chivenor in 1942? He does not appear in the London Gazette, so I presume he is not British. He is not Polish, so may have been French or Czech. His name may be spelt incorrectly, as the O.R.B. for the squadron is not the most comprehensive.

Just found that he transferred to the U.S.A.A.F., so was American. Still trying to I.D. him though. In addition, C/235 was shot down on 18 September. The crew of Sgt HILL and YATES do not appear on the CWGC website, so I assume they became prisoners of war. Again, the O.R.B. does not give their initials, making positively identifying them difficult. Can anyone assist?
