Default BATLEY Arthur Raymond NZ 402120, d. January 31st 1942

    Hello everyone

Can anyone please give an ID for the aircraft involved in the above Sergeant's death? He is listed as 'killed in an aircraft accident' here:

    http://www.aucklandmuseum.com/war-me.../record/C20659

He was with 1 G.R.U., and I also have the following three other airmen killed on the same day with the same unit:

    AC1 Herbert Thomas HOW, 905789
    F/Sgt Edmund Ronald PENHALE, 903558
    LAC Alexander Veith SMITH, 575538

    Many thanks

    Regards

    Simon
