    Default Master Bomber Required

    Dear all,

    Looking for the M/B for the attack on August 14th 1944 against Hamel, also August 15th 1944 St Trond and finally August 16/17th 1944 Stettin.

    Steve the 14th was Operation TRACTABLE so all I have for those is Aiming Point numbers. St. Trond on the 15th MB was F/L Gerald O'Donovan 582 Squadron.

    AP 24 for the 14th August op mate. Any idea on the 16/17th raid ?

    AP 24 H-Hour was 15.48, MB was F/L J Forde 35 Squadron. Still tracking down 16/17th

    MB for Stettin on 16/17th was S/L F. Smith, 635 Squadron.

    Hello ,

    You will probably have this info :

    582 Sqdn 9 Lancaster , the Master Bomber F/L O’Donovan C W flew with PB238 60-G the Deputy Master Bomber was F/O Hemsworth Hugh George E 412510 RAAF flew with PB377 code 60-S.
