    Default AIR 78 query

Apologies if these questions have been asked and answered before.
Can anyone please tell me the answers to these queries about the personnel record cards in AIR 78?

-- What does the abbreviation N S A mean? (Possibly National Service Airman?)
-- What is the meaning of the word "Militia" which appears on some cards? (Sometimes typed, sometimes rubber-stamped.)
-- What does the rubber stamped F in a circle mean?

    Thanks in advance.

I don't think that this one was resolved, please can anybody advise ? I have wondered about the MILITIA indicator several times.

There are frequently two stamped dates as well. One is often DoB (although it is not always stated to be thus), the other one seems to be Enlistment date(?) - but never said. The typed bi/tri-gram is, presumably the initials of whoever made the card?
And when are we going to have the same database (all legible!!!) searchable by Service Number? These two data are crying out for a mega-spreadsheet. One presumes it has been thought about long before now - and binned as being too difficult? I would like to know why?
    TIA

    Thanks everyone for this information.
PeteT -- a particular hat-tip for spotting the Forces War Records link. That will be useful
