    Default Lifeboat identity

Am trying to caption a photo of a lifeboat taken from a patrolling Fortress. It appears to have a rigid hull and canvass covers over the bow and stern. I'm guessing it came off a ship or was an air-droppable type. It looks like it would hold 8 to 10 people. Can email the image to someone who may know more.
    Thanks and regards:

Definitely sounds very much like an Airborne Lifeboat, either the original RAF "Mk.I", or the later USAAF version.
