Default Group Captain P.W Bale & W.R Brotherhood

    Hi,

Looking for any details on this officers pre -1944.

I am aware that G/C William Brotherhood was station commander RAF Chedburgh but it is the time before this I am interested in, also G/C Peter Bale, he was station commander of RAF Chedburgh and then RAF North Luffenham. Any details most welcome.

    TIA

    Malcom,

    My sincere thanks, great stuff.

I was hoping that someone would be able to tell me where he was born and died, I am sure he is no longer with us.

    Hi Malcom,

Brotherhood took command of Chedburgh November 20th 1944 on the appointment of G/C Bale to station commander RAF North Luffenham.
