    Morning Gents,

Does anyone know how this officer was killed? It is said that he was killed accidentally on 21.11.41 while attached or posted to 1451 Flight, but no details are available.

    Thanks

    Phil

The investigation into the crash concluded that the accident was caused by the windscreen misting up shortly after take off.

P/O Woodgate and Sgt Norrish are commemorated on the RAF Hunsdon Roll of Honour, built in 2012. We were delighted that Maurice Woodgate's brother Rex attended the unveiling ceremony.
