    Hello,
From an old thread on CWGC numbers world wide I read that at the Klagenfurt Cemetery as well as the 132 airmen that I listed in my earlier post there were also 6 Unknowns. But it was not clear if the six were airmen or other services. There is from WW1 aparantly 8 which included 3 Unknowns that were brought to Klagenfurt from Innsbruck, Mauthause and Muhldorf along with 2 Memorialized who's graves at Muhldorf and Vienna were never found.
I wonder if these WW1 Unknowns are included with the 6 said to be WW2 Unknowns or are they additional.
However I would like if possible to know the details of the 6 WW2 Unknowns and if any are known to be airmen ?
    Any help appreciated
    Thanks

    Hello Dennis,
Did that and they tell me that they only have the following information in regard to these six airmen.

    " 8.C.16. - Unknown P/O - died/found/buried 2/5/1945

    8.D.coll. grave 2-6 - 5 Unknown Airmen - no other details"

This link to a 2005 thread refers to Austria, Klagenfurt War Cemetery - 6 unknowns.

    http://www.rafcommands.com/archive/20298.php

Is it known if those six have since been identified and are now included in the 132 named ?
It looks like they are still Unknowns ?
