BOYD, William - AC2c - 1343410 - the Statutory Deaths Register on the Scotland's People website records that he died at 3.55 p.m. at the Ministry of Pensions Hospital, Edenhall, Musselburgh, due to syncope, the result of heart failure while under anaesthetic for a surgical operation on a duodenal ulcer.

89121 LAC Allan Wilfred BENNETT RAAF (ex-No.7 Transport & Movement Office, Madang, PNG), had been discharged from the RAAF on 4 April, 1946. Allan Bennett died of an unspecified illness at The General Hospital, Launceston, Tasmania, on 8 August, 1946. He was buried at Carr Villa Cemetery on 9 August, 1946.
