Default F/O Norman R Overend RNZAF

    Hello,

Can anyone supply any details concerning F/O Norman Rupert Overend 422090 RNZAF? I have the information from Chorley's Bomber Command Losses and the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, but any other details would be appreciated.

    Thanks for any help,

    Sam

Default F/O Norman R Overend RNZAF

    Dear Errol,

That is indeed the pilot I was seeking. Thank you very much for the excellent information, it adds to the bare details I have so far. You might like to know that F/O Overend's navigator, G B Thomson, and flight engineer, B J Howarth, spent eight days on the run together before being taken prisoner.

Sorry it's taken a little while to reply, but, again, many thanks.

    Best wishes,

    Sam
