    All were killed on Lancastrian G-AGMF, which crashed in an orchard at Broglie, Eure.

    Also killed were:
    Capt. J. R. G. Copeland,
    Nav Off. L. R. Hastings, D.F.C.,
    Radio Off. John Mossop, D.F.C., D.F.M.,
    Steward F. W. Roberts and
    Steward K. A. L. Broxholm.

    Wimbury died in hospital at Bernay, and Operations Officer W. J. Smith survived, slightly injured.

    DUTTON, Charles William - Cpl - 611567 - registered Maidstone.

    HARRIS, Leonard Arthur - LAC - 1202290 - the National Probate Calendar records that he died at the Royal Infirmary, Leicester.

    HIGGINS, Stanley James - AC2c - 2285713 - the Gloucester Citizen of August 26th 1946 reported the following:

    DURSLEY R.A.F. MAN'S FATAL FALL FROM LORRY
    A verdict of accidental death was returned at the inquest on Aircraftman Stanley James Higgins, aged 18, of 8, Kings Hill Park, Dursley, who died at Rookswood Hospital, Worcester, after falling from a lorry at Defford Aerodrome, Worcestershire.

    INNES, William James Bannerman - F/O(Flt/Engr) - 187823 - there's a William J. Innes, aged 23, registered Swindon, Sept 1946. Nothing on Scotland's People.

    SHADDICK, Paul Frederick - W/O(Pilot) - 1583689 - the National Probate Calendar records that he died at Husseys Lane, Froyle, Hampshire.

    TURNER, Charles Kenneth - Sqdn/Ldr - 24047 - the National Probate Calendar records that he died at the Brompton Hospital, London.

    HOPKINS, Arthur Albert - AC1c - 1215375 - FreeBMD has an Arthur A. Hopkins, aged 37, registered Dartford, Sept 1946. The Deceased Online website has him buried in Greenwich, but I don't have an account wtih that site.

    Spitfire LF.IX serial should read MK666, not MX666 - Struck ground while in cloud, Hussey Farm, Lower Froyle, Hampshire.
