    Default "u/m pupil" at SFTS

    Hi all,

I would like to ask for explanation of phrase "u/m pupil" I have found in an ORB of a SFTS in late 1940.

    TIA

Pavel can you give the context in which the "u/m pupil" is used. Is it in a paragraph of text or on a crew list etc?

Hi Linzee, the phrase is as follows:

"The u/m newly commissioned pupils posted as follows"

    Hi Pavel

I think it means 'undermentioned' as in: -

"The undermentioned newly commissioned pupils posted as follows"

I would interpret it in the same way as Malcolm now that we can see the context in which it has been used.

    Linzee and Malcom, many thanks.
Many thanks for explanation, I have been thinking wrongly it is some special "air" abbreviation as u/t:-)
