    Default Unaccounted airman - 1-1-1941

    What caused the death of and/or what was the place of death registration for:

    AC2 Frank W. COLE - 1259937 - not found Flight archives.

    Proposed aircraft losses for this day:

    Brattle Trainer - 1 FTS - P6673 - crashed on approach at night Shrewton.
    Blenheim I - L1327 - 54 OTU - crashed in forced landing Stone Park, Yorkshire.
    Tiger Moth II - N6489 - 10 EFTS - crashed on overshoot Yatesbury.

    10 EFTS ORB

    Jan 1, 1941 F/O L H Childe and LAC Amery crashed in Tiger Moth "6409" at Yatesbury - both unhurt

    Prob Typo: Cannot find a "x6409" Tiger Moth that matches?

    Also Unaccounted airmen - 11-6-1941

    Tiger Moth II - N6489 - 11 EFTS - crashed and destroyed by fire; location not known.

    AC2 Frank W. COLE - 1259937 - the Diss Express of January 10th 1941 reported the following:

    THE LATE MR. F. W. COLES
    A well known and highly popular resident of the town has passed away in the person of A/C Frank Walter Coles of 82h, Victoria Road, who died on Wednesday week, following a series of operations. He leaves a widow and two children.
