Angus Marcell Wood 55 OTU

I'm looking for any information please regarding ANGUS MARCELL WOOD, Sgt.Pilot 1337000 who was killed on 30 October 1942 while based at 55 OTU, RAF Annan. His death was registered at Penrith, Cumberland.

It seems he was a constable with Portsmouth City Police when he joined up but I'm not sure where he was born.

I'm guessing he would have been flying a Hurricane but............

Hello Ken
Wood was killed along with 1385416 MS Gilbert; flew into the ground at Kitchen Hill Penrith in Miles Master T8770. OS ref. 90/494341.

Both A.M. Wood and M.S. Gilbert joined 5 PAFU on August 24th 1942 and 55 OTU on September 22nd 1942.
