I have a good bit of information on this pilot, but am missing a few details that I hope others can help with:

  • Hards was born in Bromley, Kent, in May 1914, but I am seeking the exact date
  • He joined 802 Sqn FAA in Jul 35, but I am seeking the exact date
  • He joined 24 (C) Sqn in 1937, but I am seeking the exact date
  • He was OC, 206 Sqn, 12 Jul 41-11 Jun 42, but thereafter had postings to Calshot, Leuchars & Gosport (I think) until 1943. Can anyone provide any details for this period, please?
  • He attended a course at the RAF Staff College in 1943, but am seeking dates and maybe a course no.
  • He was posted to RAE, Farnborough in Jan 44, and became Station Commander at an unknown date. I'm not sure if these events were simultaneous, linked, or separate, but am seeking exact dates

Any help with the above details would be appreciated, please.
