    Hello

A little more info on the following:

    UK
ELIAS, Emrys - Cpl - 540157 - the Bath Chronicle of September 14th 1946 reported the following:

    COMING TO BATH ON LEAVE
R.A.F. Man's Fatal Crash in Cheshire
A verdict of 'death by misadventure' was returned by the West Cheshire Coroner ( Mr. G. F. Wain) at the inquest at Tarporley on Emrys Elias (28), a corporal in the R.A.F., whose home was at 39, Lyndhurst Road, Oldfield Park, Bath.
He was fatally injured on Sept. 6, while riding his motor-cycle combination from Weedon Camp, with the intention of going to Bath to spend 48 hours leave with his wife and baby son.
He had got as far as Beeston Castle when he came into collision with an R.A.F. truck, and died almost immediately from his injuries, which included a fracture of the skull.

HANNA, Robert - LAC - 1029482 - the PRONI website records that he died at Whiteabbey Sanatorium, a TB hospital outside Belfast.

    Regards

    Simon
