MacNAUGHTON, John - Cpl - 974586 - the Statutory Deaths Register on the Scotland's People website records that he died at 11.00 p.m. at the Emergency Hospital, Bridge of Earn, due to TB, from which he had been suffering for 13 months.
TAFT, Edward - AC2c - 2299212 - the Tamworth Herald of September 28th 1946 reported the following:
FUNERAL - There were many expressions of sympathy at the funeral of A.C.2 Edward Taft, third son of Mr. and Mrs. L. Taft, Haunton, which took place at the Church of St. Michael and St. James, Haunton. A.C. Taft was called up for service with the R.A.F. on July 3. he was taken ill on the same day and was admitted to the Manchester Royal Infirmary, where he remained until his death on September 8.

Post-discharge death. Discharged on 10.10.45.
Diagnosis October 1945: renal or ureteral colic but not know if this was connected with his later death.
