Default No.1 Photographic Recognition Unit (PRU)

    Hello,
I am looking for information on the No.1 Photographic Recognition Unit (PRU). There is no ORB ?
I have nothing on the mission and circumstances of the loss of the Flight Lieutenant (Pilot). HATCHWELL, JOHN BURKE.Spitfire Mk. IV AA792, December 7, 1941. Fell at sea, Buried at ST. CAST COMMUNAL CEMETERY.
    Cordialement,
    Regards,
    Mit freundlichem Gruß,

Part of your problem may be that the correct title is No 1 Photographic Reconnaissance Unit.

These were (and likely still are) original documents, and will require a 'Readers Ticket' (See 'Visit Us' first, for any new visitors to TNA, Kew).
