Default RAF 249. Squadron SAAF Lt. Jacobs KIA on 2 February 1945.

Mission of Lt. Jacobs on 2 February 1945 ended in Croatia. He was buried in Samobor and after war exhumated and buried in Belgrade.

He was flying Mustang III FB308 with unit code GN, I look for plane individual letter.

Possibly someone can ID Lt. Jacobs on a group photo?

    Thank you for reading.

    Hi
I should have credited my source. The code letter comes from the book "249 at War" by Brian Cull https://www.amazon.co.uk/249-At-War-.../dp/1898697493 The information is in Appendix VI on page 282.
