    Default No.75 Wing AASF

    Hi,

I am having problems locating the NA ref for No.75 Wing AASF. Can anyone please point me in the right direction.

    TIA

    Hi Steve

75 Wing was formed from SHQ Boscombe Down, so perhaps it continued to be recorded as such.

There's always the possibility, Steve, that if the unit was based in France much of its documentation was lost during the retreat ahead of advancing German forces.

    Gents,

Thank you both for your replies.

I do think that given the hectic retreat in May 1940, it may have been lost. Fingers crossed I am wrong.

    Kind regards

    Hello Steve,

AIR 35 covers the B.E.F. units, you can find some détails in there, in addition to the AIR 26 series for Wings ORBs.
