    AUSTRALIA.

    133345 LAC Claude Alfred MARCH RAAF

    133345 LAC (DMT) Claude Alfred MARCH RAAF (of RAAF Rathmines, NSW), was seriously injured in a truck accident on 12 October, 1946, on the Boolaroo - Toronto Rd., Teralba, NSW. He was conveyed to the Wallsend Hospital and died of his injuries soon afterwards. LAC March had resigned from the RAAF on 6 December, 1945, but had re-enlisted on 14 August, 1946. He had 6 children, 3 sons and 3 daughters. The Coroner recorded a verdict of accidental death.

    138348 LAC John Henry IVIN RAAF (of 55 Operational Base Unit, Gorrie, WA), died in NSW, of an unspecified illness on 12 October, 1946. LAC Ivin has no A705 at the NAA.
