    AUSTRALIA.

    W/C Malcolm John DUFF-FYFE RAAF

    261810 W/C Malcolm John DUFF-FYFE RAAF, died of an unspecified illness in a private hospital in New South Wales on 15 October, 1946. Duff-Fyfe had previously served in the RNAS* during the 1914-18 War. On 4 June, 1918, he was forced down in Curtiss H.12 "Large America" Flying Boat 8689 by Oblt z. See F. Christiansen of SFL 1. Lt Duff-Fyfe was interned in Holland (along with his crew), for the duration.

    * Served as Malcolm John Rhind DUFF-FYFE.

    Seafire LF.III PX960 - Into sea, stalled on landing approach to HMS "Implacable" 15-10-1946.
