    Default "Dodo" the flightless Hurricane

    Hello,
Recently I came across old paperwork.
I had noted that the "Dodo" number "257" was an instructional number.
I do not think that it would have had any connection with the Hurricane's RAF(or RIAF) serial number.
I had noted that the RIAF had the following Hurricane a/c as G.I instructional airframes.
    Mk.I - R4118 - circa October 1944.
    Mk. IIc - LE433 - circa September 1945 ( 4 IAF).
    Mk.IIc - Z3893 - circa October 1944.
    Mk.X - P5202 - circa October 1944.

Now hopefully, several years later more info may have come to light regarding the numbers used for the instructional a/c. Even more Hurricane instructional a/c serial numbers and perhaps links to the a/c serial numbers ?

    Hello Col,
I had already seen that item. That is why I was prompted to start this thread, as I found some old papers while looking for something else.
