    Hello

The Liverpool Echo of June 30th 1944 carried the following short snippet:

    REPORTED MISSING
Mrs. Rothwell, of 712 Ormskirk Road, Pemberton, Wigan, has received news that her brother, Sergeant Harold Rothwell, R.A.F., aged 28, is posted missing after recent air operations.

The England and Wales Civil Registration Birth Index has a Harold Rothwell, birth registered in the Jan-Feb-March quarter of 1916 at Wigan, mother's maiden name Stubbs.

    Regards

    Simon

His sister was Jessie ROTHWELL, born 1906, Pemberton, district: Wigan - info Census 1911 -

Jessie ROTHWELL married John ROTHWELL in 1933.

Their son John A. ROTHWELL was born 3rd Qtr. 1935, Pemberton

Any info about John A. ROTHWELL (nephew of his late Uncle Sgt. Harold ROTHWELL - 1916 - 1944 ) is welcome.
No other relatives known so far at this moment from his maternal side.
Paternal side is also an option to find his army portrait or photo.
