    Default No.52 Squadron 1930's

    Hi all,

Can I ask if any kind soul with access with the 52 ORB could look up a pilot for me. I am interested in the arrival and posting of a Pilot Officer William John Smith who I believe was posted in May 1937 until 1939 he was posted out.

    Any help very much appreciated.

    TIA

If all else fails, the 52 Squadron ORB (Summary of Events) can be viewed online now, albeit heavily watermarked... it takes some getting used to, but if you zoom in, it is all readable (in a fashion!)

No the Air Force List details when a Officer joined the Sqn - So if you look in one from 1938 it tells you the date
