    Default Sgt (Pilot) Peter Terry - 1803366 - RAFVR - No 5 RFU - Italy - 24 Aug 44.

    Hello everyone,
I am trying to identify the circumstances on the loss of Sgt Peter Terry RAFVR who was lost in service in Italy on 24 Aug 44. The CWGC site lists him with No 5 Refresher Flying Unit, which I believe was at Perugia. Could anyone assist with details of the circumstances etc and A/C type? . Sgt Adams is buried at the CWGC cemetery in Bari, and has a family memorial stone in Tonbridge in Kent.
I see that the Missing Airmen project had no update on him in 2014, and wondered if anything since has come to light?

    Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
