    Default 600 Sqn Beaufighter (?) accident P/O Williams 25/12/1941 - Cornwall

I am trying to find out information on an accident that occurred on Christmas Day 1941, involving P/O Williams (initials/forename unknown). I know that, at the time, 600 Squadron was based at RAF Predannack and that Williams was not badly injured (if at all). But that's all I know.

    Any help/advice gratefully accepted.

The 600 sqn ORB is available to view (with a watermark, but legible) on the National Archive website. The Form 540 has the following:

Predannack 25.12.41 Pilot Officer R. R. Williams struck the roof of a blister hangar after swinging during his take off. His aircraft sustained some damage, but he was able to land safely unhurt.

    The Form 541 has:

    25.12.41 Beaufighter R2282 - P/O Williams, LAC Cummins - air test, 08.50 - 09.00.

    Regards

    Simon

    Hello,

I'm wondering if your P/O R R Williams is the same bloke I did a little research on, some time back:
