    Default Unaccounted airmen - 2-2-1941

What caused the death of and/or what were the places of death registration for:

LAC John A. ASHLEY - 1259648 - not found Flight archives, and
    P/O (Pilot/Instr.) Geoffrey C. BLUNT - 87439 - killed on active service.

Proposed aircraft losses for this day:

    Magister I - N3776 - 5 EFTS - spun into ground Meir.
Oxford II - P1806 - 2 FTS - crashed on approach at night Southrop.

Regards and thanks for your help.
    Henk.

    Hi Henk
Both Ashley,20, and Blunt,19, are registered at Stoke and this could place them both in the incident at Meir which is close enough to be covered by the Stoke Office at the time
    Regards
    Dick

    Hi Henk,

Blunt confirmed as pilot in charge with Ashley as pupil in N3776.
