Default Typhoon crash, Brighton area 1944/45?

    Bit of a long shot...

My father recalls a Typhoon crashing somewhere on or near the outskirts of Brighton in the later stages of the war, and I'd like to find out more for him if I can. While he is well aware of the vagaries of memory over such a long time, he says it stuck in his memory in part because a second a/c circled the crash site afterwards and he found that poignant. I've done some Googling to no avail - there's a fair bit about the Typhoon which crashed on Hove beach, but Dad is adamant this was a different occasion; air crashes are not an area I'm very familiar with, hence this request.

    Cheers, Pat.

Get in touch with the Typhoon restoration project people on Facebook. They have a comprehensive list of all Typhoon crashes and will doubtless be able to quickly find it for you.

    Hi,
