    107211 Cpl Viola Emma NELSON WAAAF

    107211 Cpl Viola Emma NELSON WAAAF (ex-North-Eastern Area HQ,Telecom Unit), was officially discharged from the RAAF on 30 November, 1945. Viola Emma Nelson died of an unspecified illness at the 105th Australian General Hospital, Adelaide, South Australia, on 20 January, 1947.

    CARMICHAEL, Duncan McDonald - Cpl - 649363 - the Statutory Deaths Register on the Scotland's People website records that he died at 11.40 a.m. at Argyll County Sanatorium, Oban, due to pulmonary TB.

    The Hull Daily Mail of January 21st 1947 reported that they were killed when their motorcycle collided with a lorry on the London road near Rugby on the evening of January 20th.
