    Default No. 35 Squadron Lancaster TW879 (17th April 1947)

Does anyone have any information regarding an incident (possible loss) of Lancaster TW879 on 17th April 1947. I have some information suggesting that it was involved in a mid air collision with loss of life but there is nothing in the record books to support this suggestion.

Any help would be much appreciated

    Regards

    Pete

    Hi Pete

According to A-B Serials TW879 was SOC on 15 Nov 1947 with no mention of a mid air collision and no mention of a loss on 17 Apr in Cummings so if it was it was landed without casualties.
