    I agree. A wonderfully complete, and superbly captured, collection of photos. If only there were more like it from the period!

    Hello,

    Tinus le Roux's site is fantastic! He has also done some very good interviews with veterans, which is available on the site and on Youtube (search för Tinus le Roux).

    Thanks, a wonderful thread. My Dad served with 252 squadron and i wonder if the Beaufighter pictured came from there. He was also involved with the Bar None motor cycle club at the end of the war, and it could be that those captured motor bikes were part of that. The pictures too at 129 and 131 seem to show Roald Dahl (sitting second row) Is this the case?
