    Sergeant Thomas John Sparrow (3142)

Died 22nd March 1940, apparently listed as 'Died on Active Service' on 'official casualty list', according to a researcher.
A confirmation from another RAFcommands user would be much appreciated for Sgt. Sparrow. I'm listing this info., because something is better than nothing...

Thanks for all the updates - i am making the updates to the DB where possible. The only cases where I do not update is when there is no clear 'cause of death' available. So anything that is just recorded as 'Killed on Active Service' or 'Died on Active Service' is not being updated.

    regards

    Thomas Peter Kirk

    https://boltonremembers.org/name/kirk-14/

    But...

Thomas P Kirk -Born Bolton 1920 Mother Smith Q4 1920

So I think we can establish now this likely him

CHRIS HOBSON has his unit as

Technical Training Command Blackpool, Lancs 10 Recruits Centre

which means 20 year old Thomas Kirk with Death registered Blackpool Q4 1940 is very likely - I can't find his family - He may have had a sister Stella in 1923 and his father may have been Frederick William Kirk and mother Elsie Kirk (nee Smith) but that is only speculation - The fact that nothing can be found for him maybe the fact he is on Runnymede
