    LETCHFORD, Harry – Sgt(Pilot) – 580247 – RAF – 224 Sqn.
    McFARLANE, John William Crawford – P/O(Pilot) – 39638 – RAF – 224 sqn.
    The four Airmen named above all rest at Leuchars Cemetery, Fifeshire.

    MAY, Frederick Henderson – AC1c – 521784 – RAF – 224 sqn
    Newcastle-Upon-Tyne (St. Johns Westgate and Elswick) Cemetery, Northumberland.

    PERRY, Desmond George – F/O – 37899 – RAF – 224 sqn.
    Longparish cemetery,Hampshire.

    The six Airmen named above were all crew of Hudson I N7214 of 224 Sqn.

    HARKER, Brian Leslie Gordon ( New Zealander ) – P/O(Pilot) – 40620 –
    RAF – 49 Sqn.
    McGURK, Francis Leo – AC2c(Wop) – 546733 – RAF – 49 Sqn.

    Both of these Airmen rest in Lincoln ( New Port ) cemetery, Lincolnshire.
    They were crew of Anson I – N5096 of 49 sqn.

    BARKER, Pilot Officer Richard Atkinson, Royal Air Force (40199), 224 Squadron, Leuchars, Fife, Coastal Command, 04 October 1939, Killed Whilst Flying, Hudson I N7214, Dived into ground near Leuchars due to unbalanced load when returning a detached crew from Thornaby, Age 24, Ipswich, Suffolk, Leuchars Cemetery, Fife.

    BATES, Aircraftman 1st Class Cyril Arthur, Royal Air Force (511737), Air Gunner, 224 Squadron, Leuchars, Fife, Coastal Command, 04 October 1939, Killed Whilst Flying, Hudson I N7214, Dived into ground near Leuchars due to unbalanced load when returning a detached crew from Thornaby, Leuchars, Cemetery, Fife.

    Hi

    FORBES, John – LAC – 529906 - He was serving with No 14 SFTS, Kinloss and was home on leave when he died from injuries in the Royal Northern Infirmary sustained in a motor cycle accident on the Craigellachie-Mulben road.
