    Default Squadron Leader Gillman

    Hi,

I have a Squadron Leader J Gillman, G Gillman and L Gillman who served briefly on 218 Squadron, July 1941. The squadron had a S/Ldr James Gillman as a flight commander during 1940. I am away from my files at the momemnt and trying to establish if this July 1941 pilot is the same man ?.

    Any pointers please.

    TIA

    Steve

    Steve,

Can you recall this (from 7 years ago!), over on TOCH?

    Hi Col,

Yes do remember that....just. Its the appearence of a S/Ldr Gillman in July 1941 that I want to confirm. Is it the same officer, or another? Sadly the initials vary between J, G and L Gillman.

I am hoping its the same S/Ldr James Gillman back from a period of rest after completion of his first tour?

    regards
