    Hello,

    AUSTRALIA.

271393 F/L Kenneth Cresswell BERRY RAAF.

271393 F/L (Pilot) Kenneth Cresswell BERRY RAAF (ex-No.36 Squadron RAAF), was officially discharged from the RAAF on 10 July, 1945. He died of an unspecified illness at his home in Euroa, Victoria, on 7 March, 1947. He is buried at the Euroa (nor Euros) Public Cemetery.

The then, Kenneth Cresswell Berry, was involved in a forced-landing on 9 July, 1940 while piloting a de Havilland Fox Moth on Flying Doctor duties. His aircraft was forced down in wild country approximately 26m from Gregory Downs in the Queensland Gulf country. Berry and his companion, Flying Doctor G W F Alberry, were rescued four days later, uninjured, by Qantas pilot, Captain Eric Donaldson (ex-RFC, DFC), in a D.H.86.
