    Default Unaccounted airwoman and airmen - 13-2-1941

    What caused the death of and/or what were the places of death registration for:

    ACW2 Gertrude E. ELLNER - 424920 - killed on active service;
    AC1 Arthur KENT - 1350617 - in Flight 6-3-1941 (page 198) only reported as being wounded or injured on active service;
    AC2 Neil C. MacLEAN - 1365880 - not found Flight archives;
    AC2 Edward H. McBRIDE - 1354550 - not found Flight archives, and
    Apprentice Leonard H. OLIVER - 577424 - not found Flight archives.

    Proposed aircraft loss for this day:

    Defiant I - T3918 - 2 FPP - crashed on approach Cosford.

    Gertrude Ellner,24, registered at Hendon, Kent,27, registered at Ely, Mclean,29, registered at Fylde, Lancashire, Oliver,17, registered at Sleaford, Lincolnshire. McBride, 43, is on CWGC buried in Scotland with his Family also there he may well have died there

    Occupant of Defiant T3918 was 1st Officer C S Clarke, ATA who was injured.

    A/C.2 E. H. McBride, 1354550 is KOAS in LFight magazine Mar 27th 1941. His number was scanned as 135S55O hence why you couldn't find him back then.

    laptops come to a halt so I'm givin up for now.

    Thanks Dennis. McBRIDE was age 43 and ruled out to be killed in an aircraft accident. File amended.

    There is an Edward Hugh McBride age 43 in the Aberdeen district of Aberdeenshire during 1941 from Scotlandspeople.

    I can;t find MacLean or Oliver in Flight archives no matter I search for.

    Hello

    AC2 Edward H. McBRIDE - the Statutory Deaths Register on the Scotland's People website records that he died at 2.30 p.m. at Jopps Lane, Aberdeen, and the cause of death is given as 'due to war operations (bomb splinters and falling masonry).'

    On February 13th, 2 High Explosive bombs and one Incendiary bomb fall on Loch Street, destroying McBride's Bar and 89 Loch Street:
