    Air Sergeant Reginald Ernest Oatley GILES (102350) 1941-06-14 24 Sqdn Libya Knightsbridge War Cemetery, Ac Ref : 5. A. 13.
    Second Lieutenant Charles Cornack GORDON (47930) 1941-06-14 24 Sqdn Libya Knightsbridge War Cemetery, Ac Ref : 5. G. 6.
    Air Sergeant Paul Wilhelm De Beer BOTHMA (102315) Wireless Operator 1941-06-14 24 Sqdn Libya Knightsbridge War Cemetery, Ac
    Hello,
    The a/c was a 24 Sqdn SAAF a/c serial "1609".
    Details in vol 1 of " A history of the Mediterranean Air War 1940-1945", page 220.

    Marie on Geni again (Thanks) found death Cert on GORDON so

    Crew were -
    Lt. E.C.Newborn - POW.
    Those killed were
    Air Sgt. Paul Wilhelm DeBeer BOTHMA.
    Air Sgt. Reginald Ernest Oatley GILES.
    2Lt. Charles Cormack GORDON.
    They now rest at Knightsbridge War Cemetery, Acroma, Libya.
