ID Flt Lt "Ayres" at 5 Flying Training School Sealand in May 1933

From a newspaper report there was a Flt Lt "Ayres" who was unhurt involved as 4 person in collision between 19.5.33 Avro 504N J8533 & J8676, 5 FTS, Sealand


Flt Lt Murray Meyrick Restell-Little (33) killed

Act Plt Off John Frederick Napier Fairbanks (21) killed

Act Plt Off Patrick Hunter Dunn unhurt

Can anyone ID him from this - I can't find a Ayres in RAF In TimeFrame - maybe a typo ? Thanks Paul

Possibly, 26081 F/L Douglas Joyce EAYRS RAF. Probably not. Still a Flying Officer in 1934.

Thanks I did come back to delete this - I have now found this is a Mis-report. No Ayres involved (Newspaper error) - Coroner report subsequent states only 3 people involved and also Fairbanks flying Solo and Restell-Little with Dunn
