    Hello

ROGERS, Phyllis May - LACW - 2075213 - registered Cardiff.

    ISRAEL & PALESTINE (inc Gaza)
BECKETT, John Archibald - Sgt - 521319 - the PRONI website records that he died at the British Military Hospital, Haifa. His George Cross was gazetted posthumously, and was reported in several newspapers in December 1947. He was a driver of a fuel bowser which caught fire. He drove the burning vehicle 400 yards away to save over 20 parked aircraft. He was severely burned and died 16 days later. A native of Lurgan, County Armagh, he had joined the R.A.F. in 1935, and had served in France, Canada and Egypt.

The R.A.F. Overseas Deaths list gives his unit as Ein Shemar.

LYNCH, Thomas - Cpl - 1665039 - registered Liverpool? The CWGC entry doesn't give his age, but a family tree on ancestry.co.uk gives his birth as 'about 1909' and there's a Thomas Lynch, born about 1910, registered Liverpool North, June 1947.

    SOUTH AFRICA
REILLY, Patrick Francis - AC1c - 1905313 - the R.A.F. Overseas Deaths list has 'Ex India.'
